About the Job:Serving food in a restaurant environment, managing kitchen operations, and supervising staff are essential responsibilities for this role. The position requires efficient and safe food preparation and service.
- Key Responsibilities:
- • Determine food portions and costs to maintain profitability.
- • Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely manner to avoid shortages.
- • Prepare and cook meals to meet quality and presentation standards.
- • Maintain accurate inventory and records to ensure seamless operations.
- • Supervise kitchen staff to promote a positive and productive work environment.
- • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain high health and safety standards.
- Requirements:
- • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is the minimum educational requirement.
- • Two years of experience in a related field is preferred.
- • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
- • Excellent client focus, flexibility, and judgement are essential skills for this position.
- • Ability to work 40 hours per week is required.
- • Fluency in English is necessary for effective communication.
The estimated salary range for this position is between $45,000 and $65,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
