  • Support commissioning and troubleshooting of controls systems.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to integrate sub-systems using standard industrial communication protocols like Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and Peer-to-Peer Messaging.
  • Work closely with Process-Control Engineers to ensure accurate control narratives and bridge gaps between Process and Controls.
  • Occasionally travel to plant installations and work with customers during start-up and commissioning.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • 3-5 years of experience designing, implementing, and commissioning controls systems (Machinery or Process Solutions).
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Ladder, STL, FBD, and SFC, as well as programming PLCs and HMIs with Siemens STEP 7, Siemens WinCC, Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Factory Talk, and Ignition Perspective.
  • Experience identifying and troubleshooting controls system bugs under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with process libraries (Plant PAX/Siemens APL) is a plus.
What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you can expect:

  • A competitive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, RRSP matching, life insurance, AD&D coverage, and an education allowance.
  • A culture that prioritizes safety, innovation, learning, diversity, and teamwork.
  • Fun social activities and company events.
