Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Electrical Designer/Engineer-in-Training to join our team at Ziyutec Inc. As a key member of our electrical engineering department, you will be responsible for taking multiple projects from the conceptual stage to the detailed design stage.

Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical engineering feasibility studies for building lighting/power/fire alarm systems under a senior engineer's supervision
- Prepare project documentation, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and estimates
- Prepare system layouts, details, single-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and building schedules
- Perform load, lighting, voltage drop, and fault calculations
- Conduct site surveys and inspections
- Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by direct supervisor/manager

About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 1-3 years of experience in lighting, power, fire alarm, communication, security, A/V, and PA system design
- Knowledge of the CEC, BCBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, CSA, ULC, NEMA, TIA/EIA, IEEE, etc.
- Proficient with Auto CAD, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
- Experience in project management and coordination
- Exceptional communication and organization skills
- Experience in instrumentation, controls, and commissioning is an asset
- Comfortable working individually and in a team
- Detail-oriented and good work ethic
- EIT or P. Eng. registration in BC is preferred
