We're looking for a skilled Data Architecture Strategist to join our team of experts in shaping the future of data management at National Bank. About the Role

  • Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and design data architecture and technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Technology Expertise: Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Integration Pattern: Identify appropriate integration patterns to allow scalability, maintainability, and decoupling, while ensuring security and cost-effectiveness.
  • Domain-Driven Design (DDD): Apply DDD principles to solve complex problems and deliver composable and iterative architecture.

Data Management: Participate in identifying data, cataloging, quality, traceability, and documentation of data.

Cloud Expertise: Produce cloud-native or hybrid solutions using AWS cloud services such as Serverless and containers.

Security and Risk Management Expertise: Develop and implement robust security measures to protect data, applications, and systems and ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulations.

Leadership and Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, presenting and explaining technical solutions while leading and mentoring a team of developers throughout the project lifecycle.


About Your Team

You'll be part of a dynamic team of over 2,300 experts who collaborate in an agile, proactive, and collaborative manner to seize opportunities, stay at the forefront of technology, and continuously improve processes.

As a Data Architecture Strategist, you'll report to the senior director of the Enterprise IT Delivery sector and actively participate in designing innovative and efficient solutions to enhance customer experiences.

Your team boasts extensive and in-depth expertise in various technological and business areas, covering aspects related to applications, data, and infrastructure.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology completed, and ten years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in Information Technology, and eight years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience as a solutions/data architect, with a focus on large-scale, complex solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of DDD, ODS, OpenAPI and AsyncAPI standard, Power Designer modeling, Collibra business catalog, software design and development, AWS cloud services, structured and unstructured databases, and modern ecosystem concepts.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and AWS Solution Architect Associate and/or Professional certification is an asset.
