Data Architecture Strategist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to join our Business Intelligence team at Coveo. As a pioneer in AI-powered search and recommendations, we strive to personalize every digital experience for customers, partners, dealers, and employees.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and managing our organization's data architecture. This role is crucial for ensuring our data systems are optimized, secure, and scalable to meet current and future business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Effective Database Solutions: Develop conceptual and logical models, ERDs, and DFDs while optimizing data storage and retrieval processes.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Consistency: Establish data governance policies, manage MDM strategies, implement data stewardship programs, conduct audits, and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Manage Security and Access Control: Define security and backup procedures, ensure data integrity through continuous monitoring and validation, and manage role-based access control.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to address data architecture needs, translate complex technical concepts, and offer expert recommendations.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Continuously improve data processes and tools by staying informed about the latest industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or a similar role.
  • Deep understanding of database structures, with hands-on experience in database management systems (DBMS), data modeling, and design.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and proficiency in SQL and other database languages.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
