About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY SANDWICHES & SALADS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality in our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as culinary techniques and menu preparation.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and wastage is minimized.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet the highest quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Possess a strong knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and menu offerings.
  • Assembly and Presentation: Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that all food is presented in a visually appealing and appetizing manner.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk as required to perform job duties.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
