Auberge du Pommier is a renowned restaurant located in the heart of the city, known for its exceptional service and culinary expertise. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team.
Job Summary
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for leading a team of servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This includes managing the front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses to provide exceptional customer service
- Manage front-of-house operations, including scheduling, inventory, and payroll
- Ensure a clean and welcoming environment, including maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and retention
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to ensure high performance and engagement
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
- Proven track record of excellent customer service and team leadership
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
