Responsibilities
  • Welcome Desk:
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and employees, creating a positive impression of Equinix
  • Greet and engage with guests, anticipating and fulfilling their needs
  • Coordinate visitor check-ins and security procedures using Envoy
  • Notify employee hosts of guest arrivals and manage security badges
  • Maintain awareness of potential office security issues and communicate concerns to relevant teams
  • Assist with onboarding new employees by providing essential information and resources
  • Events and Employee Engagement:
  • Build a welcoming community environment through events and activities
  • Cultivate a positive vibe through fun and engaging initiatives
  • Plan and support coordination, promotion, set-up, and clearing of on-site events
  • Assist with scheduling and managing meeting rooms, arranging equipment and supplies
  • Office Communications:
  • Create informative communications for office events and information using Outlook and Viva Engage
  • Ensure timely and professional communications to internal and external stakeholders
  • Building Operations:
  • Assist with receiving deliveries and supporting employees with mail and shipping requirements
  • Provide direction and information to vendors and Corporate Real Estate staff as needed
  • Support employees with business card ordering
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a consistently positive demeanor
  • Fluency in written and verbal English; French language skills an advantage
  • MS Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Office administration skills and knowledge of general business and facilities management
