Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team at the Mackenzie & District Hospital and Health Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide housekeeping duties, meal planning, and preparation to support patients' daily needs
  • Promote a safe and healthy working environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adhering to infection control protocols
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Class V BC Driver's License with access to a vehicle for local area travel
  • Food Safe certification
  • Recent, related experience of three (3) months or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
