We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Dedicated Care Support Associate to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes in Shelburne, Ontario.
Job Summary
The Dedicated Care Support Associate will provide assistance to residents with their daily needs, ensuring a high level of quality care and service. This is a rewarding role for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide transportation to meals, activities, and events.
- Prepare and serve meals, including feeding assistance to selected residents.
- Participate in recreational activities with residents, such as reading, games, and visiting.
- Document resident information and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans.
Requirements
- Mentally and physically able to perform duties as assigned.
- Able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families.
- Demonstrates empathy and concern for providing quality care and service.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to complete assignments timely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
