Strategic Demand Response Professional

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager of Demand Response to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving program performance, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine long-term vision and strategy for demand response programs in collaboration with executive sponsor, aligning with EfficiencyOne's broader organizational objectives.
- Oversee design, development, and rollout of demand response initiatives, including program scope, objectives, budget, and timelines.
- Establish clear performance metrics and benchmarks for all demand response initiatives and track them rigorously.
- Manage, coach, and mentor a team of coordinators and/or other demand response specialists responsible for day-to-day operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utility partners, regulators, industry associations, and technology vendors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, environmental science, or a related field. An equivalent combination of lived experience may be considered. A graduate degree is regarded as a strong asset.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in energy management, utility operations, or demand-side management, with at least 3-5 years in a manager or senior-level position.
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and scaling energy programs is considered a strong asset.
- In-depth understanding of demand response, energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and emerging technologies is considered an asset.
