Millwright Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team at 1778894 Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and Install Mechanical Equipment: Assemble and install mechanical equipment, including stationary industrial machinery, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Detect and Troubleshoot Irregularities: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in mechanical equipment, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Read and Interpret Technical Documents: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Construct Foundations and Repair Machinery: Construct foundations for machinery and repair or replace defective machinery parts to maintain equipment performance and safety.
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including fabricating parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up.
- Operate Machining Tools and PLCs: Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate equipment operations.
- Install and Commission Systems: Install and commission systems and components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Operate Hoisting and Lifting Equipment: Operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely and efficiently to move heavy machinery and equipment.
- Education: Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent education in a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of mechanical equipment and industrial processes.
- Language: Fluency in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Work Environment: 35 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
