About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Millwright Specialist to join our team at EVRAZ North America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing, troubleshooting, and installing industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Perform routine and preventative equipment maintenance to prevent downtime and reduce costs
  • Work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Support the company's vision, mission, and objectives by providing exceptional service and expertise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement improvements in line with plant operations goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Journeyman Level Millwright certification
  • Proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including cranes and forklifts
  • 4 years of experience in Heavy Industrial Plant Maintenance
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
  • Skills in setting up, tearing down, and rebuilding machinery
  • Operational knowledge of hydraulic components and bearing maintenance
  • Proficiency in computer programs and predictive maintenance tools
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Basic math skills with some exposure to Geometry and Trigonometry
  • Ergonomics evaluation completion
