Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Bunge. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems, rotary filling equipment, automated boxing equipment, heat exchangers, and other industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with packaging and process equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize equipment performance.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of mechanical drawings and schematics to support equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Requirements:

  • Valid Provincial Millwright Journeyman Certificate or recognized interprovincial equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in industrial equipment maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems, PLC controls, and programming systems (Allen Bradley) is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor and work varying shifts, including afternoons and evenings.
