Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team at Ventura Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems, and implement effective solutions to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment-related issues, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance data.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reduce maintenance costs, and improve overall plant efficiency.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Industrial Mechanic, Millwright Ticket, or Red Seal license preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing or a related industry, with a strong background in mechanical maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with production staff, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
