Job Overview

Crosswood Construction is seeking a reliable Site Construction Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring the timely completion of projects.

Job Description

Your primary responsibilities as a Site Construction Assistant will include:

  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials;
  • Cleaning and lubricating cranes;
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials like concrete and asphalt;
  • Assisting medical examiners when necessary;
  • Helping with drilling and blasting rock on construction sites;
  • Supporting framing, wall erection, and roofing activities;
  • Cleaning and organizing salvaged materials;
  • Maintaining equipment and performing routine maintenance work;
  • Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants;
  • Tending or feeding machines used in construction.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • 1-7 months of experience in a related field;
  • The ability to work in fast-paced environments, under pressure, and handle heavy loads;
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
