Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Conflict Management Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will provide subject matter expertise, advice and recommendations to clients on conflict management policies, standards, practices and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) intervention services to individuals and/or groups presenting issues of limited complexity;
  • Facilitates opportunities for clients wishing to use an interest-based approach to address workplace conflict issues;
  • Develops and delivers Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) information and awareness sessions, or briefings for general audiences;
  • Plans and delivers conflict management training;
  • Clients must have the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities, effectively apply Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) skills, and facilitate training using adult learning principles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in conflict management, human resources management, or another field relevant to the position;
  • A minimum of one hundred (100) hours of acceptable training in conflict management which must include forty (40) hours of mediation training;
  • Experience leading Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes as a third-party neutral (including a minimum of five (5) mediations);
  • Facilitating training and awareness sessions on informal conflict management using adult learning principles.
