Senior Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at SWS Warning Lights Inc. in Niagara Falls, ON. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of superior products that meet or exceed set quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement Quality Control Protocols: Develop, implement, and oversee quality control protocols and procedures to ensure all products meet or exceed set quality standards.
- Quality Metrics and Data Analysis: Regularly assess production process using quality metrics and data analysis to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement – reporting findings to the team.
- Project Management: Initiate and manage projects aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and improving overall efficiency in the production process.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with production, design, product, and materials teams to integrate quality control measures throughout the product development and manufacturing processes.
- Quality Standards and Best Practices: Communicate quality standards and best practices to the team, ensuring everyone understands their role in maintaining quality.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products and processes comply with relevant industry standards, legal regulations, maintaining documentation and records as required.
- Supplier Quality Management: Oversee the quality of materials and components sourced from suppliers, including conducting audits, reviewing supplier quality data, working alongside the materials team.
- Customer Quality Issues: Manage customer quality issues, investigating discrepancies, and coordinating with the sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction with solutions provided.
- Process Improvement: Research and implement new technologies to enhance quality assurance processes.
- Commitment to Continuous Learning: Commitment to continuous learning and improvement with a willingness to participate in personal growth initiatives.
- Quality Assurance Experience: Experience or educational background in quality assurance, quality control or a related field.
- Quality Assurance Principles: Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and quality control methodologies.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Superior problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to work with large amounts of data.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization and Time Management: Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Computer Skills: Proficient with computer programs including Microsoft Word and Excel, Visual ERP is an asset.
