About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pest Control Specialist to join our team at Akim Pest Control Inc. As a Pest Control Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch pest control services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect Buildings and Outside Areas: Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation and identify potential pest control issues.
  • Provide Estimates and Recommendations: Provide detailed estimates of costs and recommend the most effective treatment options for our clients.
  • Treatment and Prevention: Prepare and apply chemical mixtures to infested areas, fumigate households, and install animal control barriers to prevent pest infestations.
  • Client Education and Support: Educate clients on how to prevent pest infestations and provide ongoing support to ensure their pest control needs are met.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Safety: Maintain and ensure the proper use of equipment and follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Entomology or equivalent experience in the pest control industry.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, judgement, and reliability.
