Material Handling Sales Professional

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our Storage Solutions Group (SSG) team at Johnston Equipment. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for consulting with customers on their material handling, storage, and automated systems solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute creative prospecting strategies to secure new customers and generate revenue through sales activities.
- Persevere throughout an often lengthy sales process, ensuring a keen awareness of the importance of sales service and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business and meet department objectives.
- Coordinate with manufacturers, engineers, designers, installers, and customers to ensure project timelines and expectations are successfully met.
Requirements:
- Experience in B2B outside sales, preferably in business development, lead generation, outbound calling, or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with managers, executives, and peers.
- Strong work ethic, ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments, and a professional attitude.
- Good organization and time management skills, with a high degree of initiative and a results-driven mindset.
- Polished customer service skills, with the ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
