Account Manager Role Overview
Ravago Americas is seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling plastic resins, supporting existing accounts, and expanding the customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve profitable revenue growth through robust new business development and effective sales strategies.
- Meet stated gross margin targets as a percentage of sales, ensuring the company's financial goals are met.
- Develop and execute sales plans, sales budgets, and expense budgets to drive business growth.
- Work closely with channel partners to close business based on customer purchasing requirements.
- Establish and maintain CRM data and sales statistics to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with the Technical and Customer Service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and requirements are met.
Requirements
- Complex thinking skills to translate customer needs into solutions.
- Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills to drive business growth.
- Professional presence, including excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Broad knowledge of solutions, materials, and processing.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously on a day-to-day basis.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Able to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Three years of exposure in B2B, face-to-face sales, preferably in industrial or commodity sales.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required.
