About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer and General Manager to join our team at Dawood's Meat Co.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement organizational policies and programs, allocating resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Departmental Management: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
  • Operational Oversight: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, establishing objectives and formulating policies and programs to drive business growth.
  • Representation and Negotiation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, delegating representatives as needed to act on behalf of the company.
  • Talent Management: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegating authority and creating optimal working conditions to drive business success.
  • Financial and Administrative Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning to ensure business efficiency.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, managing a team of 5-10 people and working under pressure to meet business objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar position. You must be able to work on site and be willing to work in a retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre setting.
