Director, Integrated Program Delivery, CRE

Job Summary

The Director, Integrated Program Delivery, CRE is responsible for overseeing the direct management of partners and suppliers to ensure operations and program success. This role serves as the key interface between business unit leads, Corporate Real Estate (CRE), and service partners to ensure business requirements are anticipated and represented in the development of regional strategies, network operations, and the execution of key programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the relationships with all major business lines, ensuring full understanding of their Workplace needs.
  • Act as the principal point of liaison in the event of executive escalations relative to premises operations.
  • Oversee and be accountable for the delivery of all Canada Retail programs, including branch electrification and signage replacement.
  • Leverage Service Partner and industry contacts to bring best-in-class Facility Management solutions.
  • Establish and oversee an effective asset management strategy.
  • Oversee capital and operational budget forecasts and challenge, validate, and control new engagements against budget and policies.
  • Provide governance oversight and reporting to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory and legislative obligations.
  • Deliver CRE Savings targets through innovative procurement strategies and operational efficiencies.
  • Identify key strategic Workplace initiatives to transform client experience and productivity.
  • Ensure RBC premises are managed safely in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Review and maintain the Canadian portfolio to minimize risk exposure to RBC.

Requirements

Must-have

  • Minimum 4-7 years of real estate experience with a strong understanding of Facilities Operations & Project Management.
  • Portfolio/Client Relationship Management experience.
  • Strong cost control, client focus, responsiveness to business goals, and strategic business acumen.
  • Experience in managing outsourced vendor relationships.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, strong organizational, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-have

  • Well-established in building, developing, and leading teams of professionals.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian Retail network and operations.
  • Proven knowledge of all aspects of facilities management processes and experience in managing outsourced vendor relationships.
  • Experience within a Financial institution.
  • Ability to forecast and prepare budgets, impact, and influence in global, matrixed organizations.
