Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Halifax Tower Hotel Ltd. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including floors, surfaces, and fixtures, to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Laundry and Linen: Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry, as well as restock linen closets with clean towels and toiletries.
  • Guest Services: Respond to guest requests for extra supplies or services, and handle lost and found items in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
  • Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to detail to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Language: English.
Working Conditions

This is a seasonal position, working 40 hours per week. Public transportation is available.
