Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Halifax Tower Hotel Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, common areas, and public spaces. This is a seasonal position with a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors; dust furniture; vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture; make beds and change sheets; distribute clean towels and toiletries; stock linen closet; clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances; clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment; work under pressure; tight deadlines; repetitive tasks; handling heavy loads; physically demanding; attention to detail; bending, crouching, kneeling; combination of sitting, standing, walking; standing for extended periods.
