Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Halifax Tower Hotel Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of hotel rooms and public areas. This includes sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust and polish furniture to ensure a high level of cleanliness
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a comfortable and clean sleeping environment
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests
  • Stock linen closets to ensure a sufficient supply of linens
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of cleanliness
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a safe and clean environment
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth guest experience
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide excellent customer service
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed to maintain a high level of cleanliness
