Job Title: Sales Executive - Building Envelope Advisory Services

Underwriters Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team in Ottawa, ON. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for leading and supporting sales of specialty Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) IC product/services lines that require advanced technical credibility and expertise to sell.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a portfolio of accounts and build relationships with customers throughout the year.
  • Communicate with customers to promote and sell specialty Building Envelope Advisory Services; travel may be required.
  • Use technical credibility to build relationships with buyers and centers of influence and support account owner relationships.
  • Communicate the value proposition of Building Envelope Advisory services to clients based on industry knowledge.
  • Support sales for Building Envelope Advisory Services in collaboration and at the direction of account owners.
  • Action on opportunities to sell Building Envelope advisory services into highest potential accounts in their assigned portfolio.
  • Support discovery and opportunity identification.
  • Work under guidance with account managers to seamlessly work with customers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Building Envelope advisory services, responsible for articulating the value proposition.
  • Bring in additional technical resources (e.g., engineers) when needed to support sales opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
  • 3+ years of experience selling services.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with the Building Envelope industry.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
