About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at Société de développement Vieux-Saint-Jean.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing and communication plans to promote events and increase attendance.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to ensure successful event execution.
  • Design and manage sponsorship, partnership, and fundraising programs to support event goals.
  • Review bids and negotiate costs for hospitality services, signage, multimedia equipment, printing, and other technical services.
  • Assist in budget preparation and site selection for events.
  • Plan schedules, goals, and objectives for events, and manage event logistics.
Requirements
  • Special events coordinator/manager certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Work Environment

This is a hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of remote and in-office work.
