Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Develop and implement event concepts, themes, and logistics to ensure successful execution.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Create and execute marketing plans to promote events and activities, including social media, email, and print materials.
  • Vendor Management: Research, select, and manage vendors to provide services such as catering, audio-visual, and decorations.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage event budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring financial accountability.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including staff, volunteers, and board members, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Event Execution: Oversee the setup, execution, and teardown of events, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for attendees.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in event planning, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
  • Certifications: Special events coordinator/manager certification is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in French is required.
