We are seeking a highly skilled Traction Power Engineer to join our team at Egis Rail Canada. As an Electrification Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on electrification projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Attending design meetings with contractors to identify issues and propose strategies for resolution.
- Reviewing design documents and providing feedback to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Participating in interdisciplinary design review meetings to assess potential interface issues.
- Identifying additional analysis needed to solve technical issues and coordinating with the Senior Project Manager to allocate resources.
- Contributing to the development of value-for-money solutions to address project challenges.
To be considered for this role, you will require:
- An appropriate university engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of railway experience, with a focus on main line or heavy rail.
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and resolve conflicts.
