The Role

We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization and drive growth within the Alberta and British Columbia markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executive leadership within the resource sector, a strategic vision for growth, and the ability to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish and Monitor KPIs: Track organizational performance and implement improvements as necessary
  • Manage Financial Performance: Oversee P&L responsibilities, revenue growth, cost management, and profitability
  • Talent Acquisition: Attract top-tier talent and reduce employee turnover
  • Representation: Represent the company as the public face, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders
  • Business Expansion: Collaborate with the management team and external stakeholders to execute business expansion strategies and identify new market opportunities
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements within Canada and globally
  • Reporting: Report directly to the Board of Directors while maintaining mandatory interaction with shareholder companies and business unit functions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Geosciences, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (mandatory)
  • MBA Equivalent: Qualification (preferred)
  • Senior Executive Experience: Proven track record in a senior executive role, ideally as a CEO or equivalent in the resource industry
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning abilities
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards and location.
