About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Regulatory Reporting Leader to join our team at Peoples Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, submission, and maintenance of regulatory filings, ensuring timely review and approval, and maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies.

About the Team

You will work closely with our regulatory affairs team to develop and implement regulatory strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in regulatory requirements and guidelines relevant to financial institutions will be invaluable in helping us navigate the complex regulatory landscape.

About the Skills and Qualifications

  • Completion of a qualified accounting designation or equivalent (CA, CGA, CMA, CPA)
  • 8+ years of experience in financial services leadership and supervisory role, with at least 2 years in regulatory affairs
  • Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines relevant to financial institutions
  • Proven track record of successfully leading regulatory submissions and obtaining regulatory approvals
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate regulatory trends and develop proactive regulatory strategies
  • Strong time management and analytical skills with a solid aptitude for information technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with regulatory authorities

About the Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary and discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $135,000 and $160,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience that the chosen candidate possesses.
