Job Overview
The Government of Alberta is seeking a highly skilled Project and Operations Specialist to join its team.
This role offers the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, both within Compensation Service Delivery and across government, to operationalize and implement compensation projects that have a significant impact on multiple stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and identifying process improvements on recurring projects, developing and enhancing reporting, and researching, writing, and reviewing correspondence and briefings. This requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to research and write accurate, responsive, and consistent messages for internal and external audiences using plain language.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and collaborate with clients and colleagues. Additionally, you should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as time management and organizational skills to manage multiple interrelated projects with competing deadlines. Strong project planning skills are also essential for this position.
