About the Role
This is a senior-level sales engineering position that requires a deep understanding of networking technologies and a proven track record of success in a similar role. You'll be responsible for providing pre-sales technical consultation to our customers, collaborating with our sales teams to develop sales plans and proposals, and delivering training and support to our industry partners and customer engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales technical consultation to customers on the design, engineering, sale, and implementation of sophisticated networking solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop sales plans and proposals that meet the needs of our customers.
- Deliver training and support to our industry partners and customer engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to develop innovative solutions for our customers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a technical/pre-sales role as a Sales or Systems Engineer.
- Broad knowledge of networking technologies, including core routing, edge routing, access routing, backhaul routing, data center, virtualization, and edge compute.
- Experience designing and engineering large-scale Telco/MSO MPLS/WAN, Data Center, Metro Ethernet solutions, as well as with Mobility (LTE/5G) and DOCSIS/DAA architectures.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills, with experience in customer-facing sales activities.
- Proven technical capability, with the ability to learn quickly and apply skills to new protocols and applications.
