Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at the Bulkley Valley District Hospital in Smithers, BC. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and recommend individualized treatments for patients
- Act as the primary resource for drug information, education, and expert advice to healthcare professionals
- Monitor drug prescribing, distribution, and therapy to ensure safe and effective use of medications
- Maintain accurate records and statistics
- Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy and current licensure with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program or a combination of at least one year of hospital experience and advanced education courses
- Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged
