Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Bulkley Valley District Hospital. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of dispensed prescriptions, processing medication orders, and maintaining stock levels.
Key Responsibilities- Process medication orders, ensuring they are clinically reviewed and approved by a Pharmacist
- Receive and verify verbal and non-verbal prescriptions from practitioners
- Prepare, process, and compound prescriptions
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of dispensed prescriptions
- Process prescriptions for temporary inpatient leaves of absence and transfer prescriptions to and from other pharmacies
- Enter and maintain accurate and complete drug and personal health information in the Pharmacy information system
- Maintain stock levels and perform clerical duties as assigned

- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
