About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team at B.S.S. Excavating Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including establishing work priorities and ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, co-ordinating office services, and maintaining inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with colleagues, management, and clients on a regular basis.
  • Organizational Skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines is critical for success in this position.
  • Policies and Procedures: Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role is preferred.
  • Skills: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, organized, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
