We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Management Specialist to join our team at Ontario Inc.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, monitoring the movement of supplies and materials between departments, and maintaining work records and logs.
In addition, they will coordinate traffic flow of supplies, prepare and maintain progress reports, and assist with maintenance of communications equipment.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, as well as highway trucking and associated rules and regulations.
They will also be responsible for maintaining vehicle operator work records, scheduling assignments and coordinating activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment, and organizing and maintaining inventory.
This is a permanent position with an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, and 35-40 hours of work per week.
Requirements- 1-2 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field
- College diploma or certificate in logistics, transportation, or a related field
- Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices
- Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
