Supply Chain Optimization Project Lead

DSJ Global, a leading player in the Outdoor Apparel and Sporting Goods industry, is seeking an experienced Logistics Project Manager to enhance its End-to-End Supply Chain capabilities in North America. This strategic move aligns with the company's growth objectives, particularly in the NA market.

The ideal candidate will focus on optimizing the distribution network based on the organization's distribution and transportation strategy. Key responsibilities include:

- Project Management: Drive distribution and transportation projects (project value: $10-40 million) using a solid project management approach to enable growth, drive warehouse strategy, define automation levels, improve speed to customer, optimize cost & quality of service, and refine distribution and transportation processes.

- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensure timely execution, and monitor budget issues, KPIs, and project resources (people, budget, final decisions, IT tools, data collection & analysis).

- Process Improvement: Map out and implement optimal systems and process improvements with assigned projects, monitor project progress (cost/timing/scope/risks/prioritization), and drive related communication.

- Change Management: Ensure change-management involvement, align stakeholders, and research and write up applications for government funding for intralogistics projects.

The successful candidate will possess:

- Project Management Certification: Hold an official Project Management Certification (e.g., PMI Standard)

- Logistics Expertise: Demonstrate knowledge of SCM, Logistics, Warehousing, and/or Intra-Logistics

- Language Skills: Fluently speak and write English, with basic knowledge of French, German, or Spanish as an asset

- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data using relevant tools and interpret the results

- IT Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office, Power BI, Visio, or similar, with experience in warehouse management systems

- Educational Background: Hold a Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering, or a Bachelor's degree with equivalent work experience

- Work Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional work experience in project management, preferably in Logistics/Warehousing/Transportation, with knowledge in real estate projects and IT projects.

The estimated salary range for this position is approximately $120,000-$180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
