The Sales and Operations Planning Manager will play a crucial role in improving the systems, tools, and capabilities within the organization. As the director of Supply Chain Optimization, you will lead and coordinate the sales and operations strategy across all Tri-Mach Group divisions. Your primary objective will be to promote a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.

- Prepare data and presentation for monthly S&OP meetings using cross-functional input, facilitating decisions around equipment, labor, and resources needed to support demand over the S&OP planning horizon.
- Coordinate and facilitate the monthly S&OP meetings to achieve demand plan consensus, including strategic, product development, and sales activities.
- Work with purchasing to identify and resolve supply chain constraints/gaps.
- Develop dashboards to provide transparency and single-source information across functional areas.
- Collaborate with Operations Managers to ensure S&OP plans are operationalized effectively.
- Work with Recruitment and HR to align on hiring needs across the organization.
- Manage S&OP activities that inform business decisions and drive improved customer service and delivery performance at the business level.
- Prepare data and material for monthly S&OP meetings that will facilitate decisions around equipment, labor, and resources needed to support demand over the S&OP planning horizon.
- Assist in documenting assumptions incorporated in labor demand and supply plans and validate past assumptions of completed jobs.
- Work with Business Applications to design reports and processes that lead to simplification and enhanced business planning.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and on-time delivery KPIs.
- Leverage industry best practices and continuous improvement to continually enhance the S&OP process.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Product Development on planning/executing the activation and ramp-up for new products.
- Track performance metrics and analysis to identify both opportunities and potential issues within S&OP processes and reporting as well as those across departments, providing insights and recommendations to help improve results.
- Participate in weekly production meetings to provide project status updates to all internal stakeholders.
- 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, scheduling, or production planning.
- Keen understanding of supply chain and labor resource planning.
- Project Management experience preferred and considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient with MS Office applications, such as Excel and Word.
$100,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
