About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Chef to join our team at Spice 8 Srilankan Fusion Cuisine. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our signature dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and manage food and supply costs to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our unique Srilankan fusion cuisine.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for events and banquets.
  • Plan and execute menu development, ensuring that dishes meet our quality standards.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure seamless kitchen operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
