Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hospitality Professional to join our culinary team at H2 Fernie Lodging LP. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using fresh ingredients and following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet company standards and make recommendations for improvement where necessary.
  • Order supplies and equipment as required to maintain efficient operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock effectively to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel, motel, or resort setting.
  • Possession of relevant culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Benefits and Remuneration

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 to $50,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional development and advancement.

The successful candidate will work a standard 40-hour week with occasional overtime required during peak periods. This is a permanent, full-time position offering stability and career growth prospects in a dynamic and fast-paced hospitality environment.
