Job Summary:

The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained. This includes planning and coordinating activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews, coordinating inspections of assigned areas, and ensuring that safety standards and departmental policies are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective housekeeping services.
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
  • Coordinate inspections of assigned areas to ensure that high standards of cleanliness and maintenance are met.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, and that all housekeeping staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and schedules for housekeeping staff.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out, and that all housekeeping staff are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
