Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement advanced statistical forecasting techniques using operations research, machine learning, and structured programming languages to support Distribution Centre operations and transportation.

- Build and maintain statistical models, applications, and provide relevant support to Distribution Centre and transportation teams.

- Identify and implement solutions to drive significant bottom-line contributions by leveraging business process understanding.

- Analyze complex problems using big data and develop effective solutions.

- Design and develop analytic plans using the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC approach and test hypotheses.

- Understand analysis limitations and ensure logical interpretations of results.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest analytical methods and research.

- Present analytical findings to management and leadership teams and support decision-making processes.

- Provide training on LEAN tools for management and leadership teams.

- Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to both external and internal stakeholders.

- Ensure operational activities meet corporate quality standards and industrial benchmarks.

- Drive cost reduction projects aligned with strategic goals and objectives.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, best practices, and operational excellence in the Distribution Centre.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education from an accredited university or equivalent qualification.
  • 2-6 years of experience in mathematical programming and applying advanced statistical forecasting techniques.
  • Detailed knowledge of supply chain processes and Distribution Centre operations.
  • Proven experience in implementing and maintaining LEAN operational practices and tools.
  • Passion for diving into data and turning it into actionable insights.
  • Ability to convert data analysis into informed decision advice.
  • Good customer-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Self-driven, able to initiate large projects, and focus on high-impact targets.
  • A solid team player with excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio.
