The Canadian Football League Players Association (CFLPA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization. As the chief executive officer, you will be responsible for the overall management of the CFLPA, including implementing Board policy, handling grievances, and developing partnership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of staff administrators and report to the Board of Directors
- Develop and implement strategies to align with the mission of the CFLPA
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including players, sponsors, and alumni
- Provide leadership and direction to the CFLPA team
- Deep experience working within the Canadian labour union environment
- Strong background in collective bargaining, grievance processes, and spokesperson roles
- Experience working in professional sports and/or a background in team sports
- Ability to work in a virtual and dynamic office environment
- Salary range: $150,000 to $200,000
- Comprehensive benefits package
