About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director with a strong background in Ontario-based high to mid-rise construction to join our client's team in Ottawa.

This is a unique opportunity to lead large, impactful projects and contribute to the Ottawa skyline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop and oversee project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring proactive risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, vendors, city officials, and internal teams to maintain strong communication and align project goals with stakeholders' expectations.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all construction activities meet industry standards, Ontario Building Code requirements, and company quality benchmarks.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and cost control, ensuring adherence to budget allocations and maximizing project profitability.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and support project teams to enhance skillsets, improve team collaboration, and drive project success.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of construction experience with a focus on mid-to-high-rise projects in Ontario.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and under budget.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario construction standards, health and safety regulations, and local building codes.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing diverse, cross-functional teams.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary: Up to $150,000 annually, based on experience.
  • Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus scheme.
