We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Construction Project Director to join our team in Ottawa, ON. If you're passionate about leading complex projects and driving success, this is your opportunity to shine.

About the Role:

  • Lead electrical construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Develop and implement effective Health and Safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Monitor project progress, forecast costs, and control schedules in line with our T.I.M.E. efficiency program.
  • Identify potential problems and schedule delays, communicating them to management for prompt action.
  • Oversee project quality assurance, commissioning, and handover objectives to ensure exceptional results.
  • Drive value engineering, cost savings, and pricing initiatives to optimize project outcomes.
  • Analyze critical path activities and advise the project team on optimal course correction.
  • Review and manage short interval planning to maintain project momentum.
  • Conduct pre-job planning, including estimate turnover, kick-off meetings, subcontractor selection, material handling strategies, and risk management opportunities.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and engineers to contribute to project success.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of construction project management experience, with trade experience being a significant asset.
  • An Electrical Engineering degree or diploma, or related education and/or trade experience.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale electrical commercial and institutional projects.
  • Design-build construction experience is highly valued, especially with completed full-cycle P3 projects.
  • Working knowledge of relevant building and electrical codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with AccubidPro, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam Revu.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, along with opportunities for growth and professional development within our global network.
