As a Director, Business Development, you will be responsible for sourcing and arranging transactions, evaluating and underwriting projects, and ensuring project compliance.

Main Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Sourcing and developing new business opportunities, identifying new clients and building a sales pipeline of qualified Developer Opportunities.
  • Maintaining and growing existing client base, and developing and maintaining relationships with Lending partners.
  • Evaluating project-specific financing information using sophisticated financial models/databases for prospective project/financing opportunities.
  • Driving the execution of the financing transaction closings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 5+ years' experience in business development or account management in the real estate lending/mortgage industry or finance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and negotiate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify areas for improvement.
