You will work with BRP's key senior management stakeholders and exert a decisive impact on the indirect purchasing process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing robust business partnerships and engaging with key stakeholders to understand their strategies, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Developing a strong understanding of the market and suppliers, then proposing ideas for the categories you manage to become a trusted advisor to your key stakeholders.
  • Directing your team's purchasing operations by executing procurement initiatives from start to finish.
  • Leading and implementing cost reduction initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in administration, commerce, engineering, or a related field.
  • Recognized interpersonal skills; team spirit and a partnership mentality, capable of acting both as a leader and individual contributor.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in purchasing/strategic sourcing/category management for indirect categories within a product development and consumer engagement organization.
  • Effective communication to lead and manage both local and remote team members.
  • Bilingualism in both French and English is necessary, as the person in this role will represent BRP with suppliers internationally and will have daily interactions with internal departments across our global sites.
