Purchasing Assistant

As a member of the Global Procurement Centre of Excellence team, the purchasing assistant's main job will be to take care of data management, ensure data quality, collaborate and support the direct purchasing team (product development and operations support) in their daily tasks according to project and production schedules. They will also participate in supporting activities for the procurement of indirect goods and services while respecting the various policies and administrative procedures put in place.

**YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO**:
In the SAP system

Create purchase orders, new product development and production.

Support supplier registration and maintenance.

Maintain up-to-date purchasing information sheets for parts in development.

Acknowledge receipt of tools according to the payment terms of the order.

Support buyers in the analysis and resolution of invoice errors.

Issue different reports and performance indicators on a regular basis.

Close purchase orders with fully billed lines.

In the SAP Ariba system

Approve and forward orders for the purchase of goods and services.

Update contract management managers.

Support the organization when requesting a confidentiality agreement.

In the SAP Concur system

Support user account opening.

Ensure technical drawings, approved colour samples and tool identification plates are sent to suppliers.

Support procurement project managers in updating the progress report.

Complete and track special transportation requests.

In all other administrative tasks related to the proper functioning of the Global Procurement department

Provide support to administrative assistants, including the integration of new employees.

THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A college diploma in procurement, administration or a related field.

One to three years of experience, preferably in procurement.

**Solid knowledge of the following software**: Google suite, Microsoft Office; SAP Ariba and SAP ECC, and SAP S4 Hana (assets).

Attention to detail in work performance.

Fluency in French and English is essential, both written and spoken.

Good communication skills (written and spoken).

Excellent prioritization management skills.

The ability to work effectively in a team.

The ability to solve problems and provide a range of solutions
